Join us for a discussion of Ben Sandmel’s book, Ernie K-DOE: The R&B Emperor of New Orleans, with editor Sarah R. Doerries, or for Phil Melancon’s tribute to the music of Harold Arlen and Burt Bacharach, featuring Wanda Rouzan, and Leah Chase.

Read on for a full description of Drummer and Smoke events, or peruse the 2013 Festival program for our selection of panel discussion, master class, and theater offerings. You may purchase tickets online (www.TennesseeWilliams.net) or via phone at (504) 581-1144.

Lionel Ferbos Returns to the Palm Court

Lionel Ferbos returned to the Palm Court Jazz Cafe this evening (Saturday) for the first time since his recent hospitalization. His voice was strong (he sang quite a few songs), and he’s looking forward to being able to pick up the trumpet again.

Thank you!

Once again, we extend our thanks to everyone at The Palm Court Jazz Cafe, for allowing us to share a splendid evening of music & fellowship.  Many of our guests were experiencing NOLA for the first time, and The Palm Court was certainly a memorable experience for them.  The Chiefs of The FDNY clearly enjoyed their evening at The Palm Court.

Thanks to all, & Enjoy A Peace Filled Thanksgiving Holiday,

Anita & Rich
